Conditions, events, battles, wins, losses are all monitored under what is called the Fog of War…I suggest we call this entire scheme the Fog of War Idiocy.
I am not a pacifist, I probably should be after my many years on this nutty planet, but I still maintain that there are instance where you just have to put someone in their place. A good punch in the nose settles most small skirmishes while other seem to require $1,000,000,000/day salvos. In either case, the objective is simple…knock the target/opponent out and often the additional one of making sure he/it/they can't get back up.
The USA and Israel have found it in their generosity to kick the hell out of Iran. To be sure Iran has been an irritant, a belligerent, and an all out pain the ass at times. The chants of Iranians spurred on by the Ayatollah “death to America” are not exactly endearing. Is it possible these are also spurred on with a purposeful CIA or Mossad or two in the crowd…you bet. But by and larger, Iran has been an active participant in painting its PR image as one of aggressively supporting terrorism and haing the great and little Satans. From the first splashy hostage taking in the 1980s to the lovely lobbing of missiles over Tel Aviv, Iran has deservedly been categorized as an sponsor of terrorism and targeted for regime change. Well, the Ayatollah is now dead along with a few 10s of other top beards , but what changed? Is it possible that such a backward country actually had a succession plan(s) in play? My spidy senses say yes. Nothing has changed excepting that Iran now has a Martyr to rally around and will continue its chanting to the tune of more missiles whisking past discouraged defense systems. It seems to me that the touted hyper-sonics have not yet been used. Maybe I am incorrect but even if so, they will not get much media exposure in the USA or Israel. Wars tend to blanketly control what gets out and what doesn't. A little tweak here a little tweak there and before you know it we are not taking any damage at all…it's all good and we're really winning and fast. We shall see.
As the fog clears, the real situation shown by too many cell phones will emerge. Maybe Iran is taking it in the shorts but maybe Israel and the USA have a few wounds to lick too. I admit that I might be calloused or aneathestisized by our crazy news media representations and years of the Ukraine war horrors that somehow are hard to accept as anything but nightly entertainment sponsored by George Orwell…but the images shown are not too bad, not too devastating, not too decisive, not Hiroshima. I must be insensitive or or my expectations are different now, salivating for undeniable blows of destruction that turn the landscapes into moons cratered by man made asteroids pummeling the holy lands of the middle east. Must see TV for sure.
Honestly, they lost me on this one. Another set of pretenses to grab oil, hurt China, flex our mighty military, make small dick Generals feel manly and cause shivers of fear be brought to innocent folks like thee and me…as we all know and have said in solid unanimity, if the fat assed politicians had to fight these wars on the front lines there would no wars. The convenience of buttons pressed launching tubes filled with explosive cash is just too much fun and oh so easy…we don't even have to use real money. it's really great.
I am sick of this shit.
Best,
