I've had several Accountants, some good, some bad and generally all indifferent. Donn ( the D in DM-Your Own CFO) is unique. He is among the best for just the financial stuff but his explanations and analysis has been nothing short of an eye opening master class. He see things in a report that I normally would pass over and they often open the door to beneficial changes. The idea that an Accountant should care about his client isn't new but he talks that talk and walks that walk. He really has become a part of management and in my field (restaurateur) I need all the help I can get. DM is what I call a Mensch. and old soul. He seems to have a type of knowledge or wisdom that goes beyond what schools teach and frankly and simply put, he one street smart old SOB.
