I am not alone in citing the recent Nashville shooting as a tragedy. No child should have to die under gunfire in a place that should be considered protective of children. Unfortunately, schools still have a ways to go to harden. I can be done and must be done.
As usual, the media pundits call for gun controls and in specific an assault rifle ban. This is a naïve and unhelpful trope. The real attention should be on drugs prescribed or not, bad mental health care or none at all, and the responsibility of those around the lunatics doing these shootings.
I will refrain from making much out of the trans angle but I do think these poor souls have been so heavily indoctrinated as victims that they see no other way but to kill the enemy victimizing them. In this case that enemy was a Christian School. This is as much an anti Christian hate crime as a mass murder of children. It is shameful, abhorrent and must be condemned in the harshest of terms.
The 2nd amendment certainly contemplated the need for an armed Citizenry to keep tyranny at bay but it never in all the deliberation could have imagined the insanity going on in the USA over transgenderism. Men and women have for centuries dressed like the opposite sex, but this is different. This is a weird twisted religious cult served with more fervor than the Hitler Youth.
Please please stop indoctrinating young children, provide good factual information and discourage the mutilation done under the auspices of health care. It isn't healthcare it is the destruction of one of God's most beautiful creations, a child.
