RE: Statement of Excellence
I’ve owned businesses for many years and been through several firms/personal that I thought had
my best interest at heart. Well, we’ve all been there. Words cannot express the extent of gratitude I owe
Donn Marier with DM-YourOwnCFO. We have worked together over two years now and the knowledge
I’ve gained from him is beyond measure.
When owning your own business you rely on the people you choose to/pay to have your financial
future moving in the right direction and to receive their expertise to guide you down that path. In the past
I thought I had made the right decision in my choices only to have my eyes opened in a downward spiral
personally and professionally.
Donn not only brought me through that season, but he also rose to the challenge of stomping
through the weeds with me to bring us out into a greener pastures. His constant communication is so
rewarding with updates on the current and the future of my personal and company’s financial success.
We are in different states and time zones, but Donn always made himself available to our needs via phone
calls, text, emails, and zoom meetings.
If you are in need of someone trustworthy, experienced in the field, dedicated to your success,
speaks on your level (no matter what that level may be), and available for you, make the move to Donn
you won’t regret the outcome.

Sincerely,

Wallace L. Vinson, President
Epic Surgical Solutions LLC

"This is going to sound cheesy but... Donn is the best accountant around and Couldn't imagine having anyone else on my side. I say on my side because I feel like Donn has a part to do with my salons success. He plays such an important part in my business, he is my numbers guy and always making sure we are in the green and doing more then just good but best! He is also extremely reliable when I need any type of paperwork or help with accounting type issues with the business and always willing to help! I have worked with Donn for over 12 years and will continue to work with him until I close up shop!"

Thank you.

RE: Letter of Recommendation
I have worked together for over two years with Donn Marier with DM-YourOwnCFO. The word
together is the key to all great working relationships. We had another person that talked the talk but did
not come close to walking the walk throughout our time together. After being referred to Donn, we began
to see the light at the end of our confusing accounting tunnel.
Donn’s constant communication is so refreshing. The information received is the good, the bad,
and the ugly so to speak. We receive information that gives us projections to shoot for that we never
thought of. Having someone look out for our bottom line and our financial growth is a huge weight lifted
from our plate.
We are in different time zones, but Donn always makes himself available to our needs via phone
calls, text, emails, and zoom meetings. Highly recommend his services if you are looking for someone
honest, knowledgeable, well versed and a great human being.

Yours truly,

Darlene Anderson, Practice Manager
Epic Surgical Solutions LLC

I've had several Accountants, some good, some bad and generally all indifferent. Donn ( the D in DM-Your Own CFO) is unique. He is among the best for just the financial stuff but his explanations and analysis has been nothing short of an eye opening master class. He see things in a report that I normally would pass over and they often open the door to beneficial changes. The idea that an Accountant should care about his client isn't new but he talks that talk and walks that walk. He really has become a part of management and in my field (restaurateur) I need all the help I can get. His guidance prior to and during the pandemic had me positioned to survive the insanity and when I fully reopened I was still capitalized and had most of my wonderful staff in tact.

Donn beings something special to my table. Wisdom. Try it, it is the best thing on the menu.

Thanks for everything DM.

"Donn has been our Accountant for years. He is extremely professional and just the right amount of intrusive . Our return is always quick and efficient. He is very communicative and knowledgeable. We moved states but will continue using him for years to come. He is our first stop and last stop." Jayla M.

"As my business grows Donn has been a wealth of knowledge in order to run my business as profitable as possible. I feel safe and secure with the advice he provides. I know that he keeps up with the every changing tax laws. He is a great advantage and addition to any entrepreneur." Becky M.

DM is what I call a Mensch. and old soul. He seems to have a type of knowledge or wisdom that goes beyond what schools teach and frankly and simply put, he one street smart old SOB. I came to him by recommendation from a Treasury Department Employee. The recommendation just said that DM knew the system and how to work it and I'd be glad he was on my side. Good enough for me. I had years of unfiled returns (long story) and he got me current with great results...I actually got a refund. My ignorance was never used against me but rather he educated me so I could be on par with his thinking and plan forward with confidence. As that old ad says, "when Donn Talks, clients listen". Thank you Donn.
