I’ve owned businesses for many years and been through several firms/personal that I thought had 
my best interest at heart. Well, we’ve all been there. Words cannot express the extent of gratitude I owe

I've had several Accountants, some good, some bad and generally all indifferent. Donn ( the D in DM-Your Own CFO) is unique. He is among the best for just the financial stuff but his explanations and analysis has been nothing short of an eye opening master class. He see things  in a report that I normally would pass over and they often open the door to beneficial changes. The idea that an Accountant should care about his client isn't new but he talks that talk and walks that walk. He really has become a part of management and in my field (restaurateur) I need all the help I can get. His guidance prior to and during the pandemic had me positioned to survive the insanity and when I fully reopened I was still capitalized and had most of my wonderful staff in tact.

DM is what I call a Mensch. and old soul. He seems to have a type of knowledge or wisdom that goes beyond what schools teach and frankly and simply put, he one street smart old SOB. I came to him by recommendation from a Treasury Department Employee. The recommendation just said that DM knew the system and how to work it and I'd be glad he was on my side. Good enough for me. I had years of unfiled returns (long story) and he got me current with great results...I actually got a refund. My ignorance was never used against me but rather he educated me so I could be on par with his thinking and plan forward with confidence. As that old ad says, "when Donn Talks, clients listen". Thank you Donn.
