As the 80s hit sang, Karma Chameleon, the new version clearly Kamala Chameleon. Has any politician ever changed colors so dramatically and so fast. And ALL without explanation. It brings me to the fact that Principles count.
A political position or political policy is not a Principle. The reality is that most are derived from ideology and expedient promotions to garner votes. Ideology is often drawn from a source work like the Communist Manifesto or the Federalist Papers. Both of which are themselves driven by the authors Principles.
Ideology and Principle are not the same thing;
ideology: a manner or the content of thinking characteristic of an individual, group, or culture
principle: a comprehensive and fundamental law, doctrine, or assumption
Being an Ideologue and being Principled are not the same.
Borowsky: Ronald Reagan was a great example of what one person can accomplish, through principled commitment to the greater good, with grace, diplomacy and strength.
Instead of taking a principled stand on the side of civilization, [@KamalaHarris] pandered to a mob of terrorism cosplayers who were on Capitol Hill while Netanyahu was speaking.
Principles guide virtually all areas of life and decision whereas Ideology dictates directives without discernment or nuance.
My observation has been that the votes that elect demand either a Principled candidate to whom his/her constituency naturally gravitates or a Candidate that panders for the crowd they find in front of them.
Simply put, Trump is Principled and Harris is panders changing color to match the voters she is addressing. This explains why Trump can wing it for an interview or rally and Harris must use a teleprompter and avoid the one on one need for another word salad. Tucker Carlson among others calls Harris dumb…not a smart person. But that is not to say she is not crafty. She has managed to have a political career by using her charms as they were to gain position from willing dupes. That history is better left to someone who enjoys digging up the dirt. But even that is not the main item of interest in my view. The very fact that she has accomplished little to nothing of lasting value or demonstrated competence in achieving desirable results is enough to turn me away. And now she rejects ever being the Border Czar???
What is truly stunning in the Harris coup is how the main street media is 110% complicit in the lies. EVen this “favorable” take on Harris by leftis NPR is hard to accept as complimentary of an effective person. https://www.npr.org/2024/07/24/g-s1-12918/kamala-harris-vice-president-senator-ag-california-first
The big Principles if you will in play are Free Capitalism vs Socialism. Add to that that Free Capitalism supports freedom of speech and Socialism requires it be dampered. There are excellent examples of largely free societies and largely controlled socialistic societies. On the Free side is Switzerland and Singapore and on the less free or even oppressive side is Sudan and North Korea. That may be unfair leaving out so many others so look at this yourself at

The United States ranks 25th down for 12th just a few years prior. It is moving in the wrong direction given the criteria of the survey. The Principles at play for a free society include trust in its own citizens. The Left has very little trust in its own citizens which is witnessed by the coercion of media to tamp down free speech. Socialism buys votes through redistribution of the wealth while pretending to care. Free Capitalism allows for every man or woman to exercise they free will in the best way they can muster and protects the Constitutional Freedoms that support it. Yes, the Socialist is not so fond of the Constitution which was created using Principles by Principled men. The difference between Socialism, Communism and Fascism exist but are blurred in the US versions of these Ideologies. Taking bits of one or another seems the way it is devised.
Our national debate is between the visions for the future our two Candidates hold. Disagreements exist, even big ones that divide us into two separate countries. When one side seems so likely to win, just kill the candidate. Or when sides ideas are better just copy them. Bill Clinton pulled that off in the 1990s and Kamala is doing it again. She is not Principled but rather a political grifter seeking her advance through the backroom or bedroom or both. I have no inside info on her Biden Coup but I'd be remiss to not acknowledge that she has landed on her feet running. Will he honeymoon last? Maybe. But if the past is any indication, the election will be rigged in one or more ways. One can only hope that the Trump Team and Republicans in general have a better handle on it this time. Of course, it is entirely possible that Harris will blow the Debates and give more word salads in any upcoming interviews.I do wonder if that will really matter to those who just want anyone not Trump. What a way to win and what a loust sign to the world of how we elect our Leadership.
Yes, I will vote Trump, but it is almost my version of anyone NOT HARRIS.
