Try as I might, I just can't seem to remain sour or even mad at the IRS when it's Christmas time. Sorry about that, but it is still the most wonderful time of the year and like guns and the Bible, I am clinging to it.
I do think of those no longer with us to share this wonder, and must give a special shout out to my long time friend now deceased Javier Cruz. Javier celebrated his birthday on Christmas Eve and he had a capacity for happiness and joy. He is greatly missed. His musical skills are no doubt being employed in a galaxy far far away.
As 2024 approaches, take some time off from the regular concerns of the day and enjoy family and friends. Tis the season to be Jolly and consider how Christianity applies in your life. After all, Christm,as is Christ's birthday.
