You may have seen that the Congress passed a new Covid Relief Bill which included new PPP Loan Funds. God Knows that many small businesses need this lifeline. For some it will be too little too late and in mho you can thank Pelosi and others for the delays. I for one am sick of the politicization of help to the American public who so desperately needs it. Enough! Please!
A good thing in the bill and subsequent Treasury rules is that 2nd loans are available to those who received the first one. Terms and conditions are about the same. You apply at your bank or other PPP Loan originator. The financial stress test, as it were, is that your business must have had a down quarter in 2020...few didn't so I expect a lot of 2nd loans will be given.
I will supply all needed financial docs to my applying clients at no charge so call me. If you're not a client, why not? My service is top notch and my fees are below national averages for comparable competence. If you're inclined to use Quickbooks, I am a Pro Adviser and coming under my account gets you a 50% discount so that's a nice perk. My base Bookkeeping fee for all platforms is $170 up to 150 transaction monthly. I do provide some discounting for additional accounts but my base service include s accounting for Bank, Savings, and one Credit Card account. I also provide excellent in house Payroll mostly to make sure you have me to talk to if ever having payroll troubles like not enough cash for tax deposits etc. The automated services like QBO and many others say you have a person to talk to but they are never as responsive as I am. All quarterly filings are handled for all states so no barriers by geography. In fact, most of my clients are 1000 miles or more from me and we communicate by text, email, zoom and the good old phone.
Though it is tax time, I can take on new clients and have a chart of accounts established within the week of coming on board. I do not do business tax returns for non-clients but can do personal returns for all. My fees are affordable. Oh, I also provide catch up filing for missed years and am facile addressing the IRS.
OK, PPP loans here we come. Call if help is needed.
Best to you,
Donn Marier
