I am reminded at times that getting out in nature is a wonderful elixir. I drink of it often. I think what happens when you get out is that your space expands and the things big and small that have been pressing on you move off. Exercise, meditation and just plain napping or taking some deep breaths are alike good things to incorporate in your day.
I face a lot of stress in my daily fight against the IRS and other potentially oppressive agencies so this is self given advice that I follow. It is my work. and my pleasure so no complaint here.
In my long and varied career life I have found that completing tasks is the way to go and I avoid putting things off as much as possible. Of course, there are times that you must wait for a response or clarification etc. so an empty desktop isn't always the gauge. But by and large, getting things done to a completed status is powerful. The faster you can competently do that the more powerful you are.
Another tool for better life is to be honest when self assessing. Why blow smoke up your own butt. Faults or short comings once confronted can be improved. But thinking you are perfection is a camouflaged hole waiting for your to step in. We all fall for it sometime in our lives, just don't make it your routine. Other than the carp of self righteous idiots, constructive criticism can be helpful if acted upon. THere is nothing embarrassing about bettering yourself.
OK, just a few odds and ends that crossed my mind while taking my morning constitutional.
