Protecting the Border: Ukraine's Border

One of my espoused loves for accounting is that numbers are logical and themselves do not lie. People can twist the meaning or significance but the numbers do not lie. Statistics are therefor a good gauge as support for the truth.

In some areas of life, like politics, truth has little value and statistics get used and abused by partisan interpretations. This unseemly practice makes for some bad policies and decisions based upon false premises.

It is a known fact that the US Border leaks, big time. Though a solid number is not known mostly because it is not wanted to be known or at least not disseminated by the powers that be. Naturally, to fix the US's southern border problem, it only makes sense to send troops to protect the Ukrainian Border. WTF?

An old adage about a nutty man says...a man gets a flat tire, then angrily kicks the cat. What is the result? He still has a flat tire and now a very pissed off cat.

Careful Joe, you are pissing off a lot of cats.

Best,
